Self-motivated homework in our graduates only after school.
No prompt or forcing. We want the students to do it because they want to do it, and enjoy chatting with friends in English while doing it.
It's the same with English development. It's their English if they want to read or write they should.
Doing it this way means they see the value of it, and enjoy it.
Meaning they will enjoy doing it at regular school too.
We've heard to many stories over the years that the person hated English when at High school.
