This cute little book teaches about the ears and gives different scenes with different animals. and a cute little rhyme with each.
When I read the book I always ask the students questions about what they can see in the book and not just jump straight away to the answer.
When answering I want the children to respond with "I think its a ......"
So for example "I think its a Rabbit". This is better than just shouting out "Rabbit, Rabbit". We know the children are excited but if we can get them to notice the higher level statement and use it then they will develop the language to a higher level and faster.
