Today running the monthly emergency situation drill. This month's theme is Earthquakes and what we will do as a school in such an event.
Of course in my inducing style asked plenty of questions and got the students thinking for themselves.
We covered such things as what to do while the earthquake is happening, where to go in an evacuation, and when and how we would use a fire extinguisher.
The students were very interested. Also to test we asked them what these things were in Japanese. And of course they could answer NO problem which goes to show parents should have no need to worry about their children's Japanese proficiency.
